Wait A Sec® (A play on the French word “sec,” meaning “dry”) is a science-backed powder dry shampoo that adds volume and includes our clinically efficacious peptide combined with antioxidants to preserve and stimulate pigment without leaving a white residue.

DESCRIPTION

Our gentle non-aerosol powder dry shampoo adds volume and refreshes hair without leaving hair feeling weighed down. Wait A Sec is formulated for all hair types with a subtle tint that won't leave a white residue, and includes our signature all-natural fragrance of cedar and sage to help even lived-in hair smell refreshed.

USAGE

Shake well and apply to dry hair and scalp in sections, holding the bottle about 1-2” from the head. Use fingertips to distribute amongst scalp and hair.

Opting in to Auto-Replenish is the best way to maintain lasting results. One bottle of Wait A Sec typically lasts around three months. If you use 5 pumps a day or less, we'd recommend a 90-day frequency. If using more than 5 pumps a day, we would recommend a 60-day frequency.

How to Apply

Wait A Sec™ powder dry shampoo extends time between washes by absorbing excess oil and adds volume.

Apply 1-2 pumps per section of hair, about 8" from the scalp.

The subtly tinted powder blends in well with all hair colors and doesn’t leave a white residue.

    The Best!

    I’ve tried pretty much every single dry shampoo on the market and this one is hands down my favorite. It works wonders, giving new life to my fine hair. The product is lightweight, feels clean, and leaves zero residue. I’ve used it both between wash days and for styling to add soft volume and texture to my strands.

    Actually works

    I have used SO many brands of dry shampoo and this one works so well for dark colored hair and really helps you go from a day 3 look to day 1. It does smell a bit “herbal-y” but I don’t mind it.

    The best out there

    I have tried A LOT of dry shampoos but this is hands down my favorite. Doesn’t leave a white residue and really soaks up the extra oil at my roots. I also love the design and how evenly it sprays without being an aerosol. Amazing!!
