Calm It Down® is the first clinically effective post-treatment scalp serum, formulated to soothe and restore your scalp after exposure to hair dyes, relaxers, and other chemical processes, and the sun. Cooling on contact, it contains our patent-pending Mela-9™ Complex, an advanced blend of antioxidants and a clinically validated peptide, to counteract oxidative stress and promote scalp health.

100% natural fragrance from cedar and sage. Oil-free, dermatologist-tested formula suitable for all hair types.

USAGE

 

Shake well. Starting from the front hairline to the back along your natural part, apply 2-4 pipettes directly to the wet scalp after hair dye, chemical treatments, or whenever your scalp needs soothing. Massage into the scalp.

For extra protection, apply Calm It Down® 4-6 hours before chemical exposure.

How It Works

Calm It Down Scalp Serum

    Extracts from Brazilian pepper trees and Australian aniseed nettle relieve redness and irritation.

    Pentasodium Tetracarboxymethyl Palmitoyl Dipeptide-12 (and) Tripeptide-79 help to relieve scalp stress and manage inflammation.

    A clinically efficacious peptide helps with repigmentation by stimulating the MC1-R (melanocortin 1 receptor).

  • Safeguard

    Antioxidants including Tangerine extract and Fo-Ti help reduce oxidative stress in the scalp.

How to Apply

Calm It Down™ is the first ever clinically effective post-hair dye scalp serum to soothe, reduce redness and counteract oxidative stress.

HOW TO USE:
  • After rinsing hair dye or other chemicals used on the scalp, follow with Wash shampoo and Smooth conditioner
  • After rinsing Smooth conditioner, comb the hair away from the face.
  • Shake Welll
  • Depending on hair thickness, fill 2-4 pipettes and apply directly to wet scalp, working from the front hairline to the back starting at your natural part.
  • Massage in with your finger tips. Do not rinse off.
  • Follow with additional applications as needed.
  • Air-dry or blow-dry to achieve desired style.

No. Calm It Down™ is not formulated to be added to hair dye. It is designed to be applied to the scalp before or after on-scalp hair color or chemical treatments.

It depends on how much of your scalp gets exposed to dye with each application. If the dye touches 50% or less of your roots, Calm It Down™ should last you about 5-7 post-dye applications. If you use dye on your whole head, Calm It Down™ should last for about 3-5 post-dye applications.
