WASH
Our proactive shampoo for aging hair contains The Mela-9™ Complex, our patent-pending, science-backed combination of antioxidants and a clinically efficacious peptide to slow and repigment grey hair while delivering thicker, fuller, healthier hair.

SMOOTH
Our nourishing and clean conditioner includes antioxidants and extracts that work to retain moisture inside the hair strand while leaving a conditioning barrier on the exterior.

100% natural fragrance from cedar and sage. Free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, polyethylene glycol, formaldehyde and dyes.

USAGE

 

WASH
Wet hair and apply a liberal amount to hair and scalp, massaging into a rich lather. Allow lather to remain on the scalp for several minutes. Rinse hair well and follow with Arey Smooth conditioner for best results.

SMOOTH
Following Arey Wash Shampoo, apply from mid-shaft to ends of hair. Rinse immediately or leave on longer for a deeper conditioning experience.

Opting in to Auto Replenish is the best way to maintain lasting results. If you wash your hair every 1-2 days, we recommend signing up for a 30 day auto-replenish plan. If you wash every 2-4 days, a 60 day frequency would be right for you.

How to Apply

Wash is a gentle shampoo with proactive ingredients that stimulate pigment production and support hair health.

HOW TO USE:
  • Dispense a silver dollar-size amount into your hand and work the product into a lather.
  • Wet hair and apply to scalp and roots.
  • If more lather is needed, add more water and continue to massage into the scalp.
  • Remember to focus on the back of your head as well.
  • Allow the product to sit on the scalp for several minutes.
  • This allows the active ingredients to fully absorb into the scalp.
  • Rinse thoroughly, and follow with Smooth conditioner.
Smooth is a nourishing and clean conditioner that helps retain moisture inside the hair strand.

HOW TO USE:
  • It leaves a conditioning barrier to help hair to look healthier without feeling weighed down.
  • Depending on your conditioning needs, apply a quarter to silver dollar size amount to mid shaft and ends.
  • Tip: Conditioners should not be applied on or near the scalp.
  • Smooth can be left on the hair for several minutes for deeper conditioning.
  • Use a wide tooth comb to evenly distribute before rinsing.

    Best for the scalp

    While I don't notice any changes on handling the grey, and that is the first reason I started using Arey products, I will say that every time I try changing up my shampoo I always go back to Arey because it is exactly what my scalp needs and wants. It's very nourishing and cleansing at the same time.

    Nice smell, cleanses well

    Started using the shampoo a little over a month ago, so too early to tell with pigment, but I feel like it cleanses well and my hair feels soft afterwards. The smell is nice.

    Way healthier hair

    Although I am slow to gray, as I've gotten older, my hair has lost its sheen and depth of color. This shampoo seems to be restoring it. My hair is less frizzy, fuller and shinier, and I think I do have less grays on my temples where they were mostly concentrated. I gave a bottle to my 20-year-old son to try since his hair was losing body. He seems to notice an improvement.

Yes, all of our products are sulfate-free. Our Wash Shampoo creates a luxurious lather and leaves hair perfectly clean, soft, smooth and balanced. Bubbles willl also be smaller in nature than those shampoos made with sulfates. Just add a bit of water and you'll be able to create a lather.

Many conditioners contain silicones that are too heavy – especially for fine hair. They build up on your strands leaving your hair limp and lifeless. That’s why we use Amodimethicone, a silicone derivative, in our Smooth Conditioner. The light, protective coating that amodimethicone provides helps to improve the visible softness and shininess of the hair by smoothing the hair shaft and locking in moisture. Unlike other silicones, Amodimethicone won’t cause pore-clogging buildup on your hair and scalp.
